The lodge comprises five freestanding thatched chalets, all serviced by a separately located living area, outdoor lapa and pool. The placement of the freestanding chalets allows each guest total freedom.

The lodge living area overlooks a seasonal lake, and is spacious and comfortably outfitted to accommodate a small party of guests. The main lounge is ranged around a log-burning fireplace with the dining room area leading out to the large timber deck, with further seating. There is a TV lounge area, a guest toilet and a well-equipped professional kitchen. Dine under the stars, near a roaring log fire – near the pool area is an enclosed boma, the ideal place to celebrate the end of another perfect day.

Each freestanding chalet has its own bathroom (separate tub and shower), a wood-burning fireplace and shaded stoep from which to enjoy the views. Chalets are furnished with a well- sprung king-sized beds.

The pool is privately located behind a beautifully constructed dry-stone wall, built in the same time-honoured tradition as those created by the first farming pioneers. The nearby boma, surrounded by an acasia thicket, is the ideal place to finish the day, with a candle-lit dinner under an African sky
